- Rooms should be built according to the needs of the people living in the house. They should neither be too small nor too big. For instance a person in a small room will feel claustrophobic and children in a large room will feel lonely and uncomfortable.
- Rooms should either be square or rectangle in shape as other spaces reduces the flow of positive energy.
- Rooms without parallel walls at least on two sides cause confusion and lack of concentration.
- Triangular rooms can cause restlessness, anxiety and fear in residents and those that have a slant on their side lose positive energy.
- Rooms with irregular corners do not allow positive energy to flow and makes the residents feel sluggish and inactive. Such irregularities can be rectified by making square shaped ward robes.
- A room with eight sides is good for spiritual gatherings.
